The H.S.E. develop new health and safety laws and standards, and play a full part in international developments, especially in the European Union. |

This site provides information about RIDDOR and allows you to report accidents, diseases and dangerous occurrences.
They also offer statistical information on the numbers of reports received by the Incident Contact Centre, under the
"Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations
1995", since 1st April
2001. The service has been developed by the H.S.E., in co-operation with the Local Authorities, to simplify the reporting procedures and to offer a choice in the way in which reports can be made. |
